Daisy Jane came to us from Tishomingo County on 8-26-2008. We took Mandy from this same property on Dec.17, 2007 (Goldie also) the judge didn't give us a seizure order to pick up Daisy Jane because they said they had given her away. I should have pushed because she looked good in Dec. 2007 (she is on mandy's first page). When Daisy Jane came to us we had to put ropes under her to lift her every time she laid down. We would lay her flat, pick up her front end, put a rope under her (behind her legs), and do the same for the back end, so we could help pull her up. It only took a few times of doing this before she would see us come through the door she would lay flat down and wait for us to help her up (poor baby). It took about 3 weeks before she had enough strength to get up on her own. She is now allowed to be outside in the day time with some of our other horses. She follows us around the barn like a dog. At feeding time she walks back and forth between her stall and the feed room looking in to see if I'm coming with her bucket yet. CUTE CUTE CUTE. We had to put a sling under her to keep her up in the trailer for the ride to our barn. She was so very close to death, but she isn't now. She runs through the pasture. She knows her stall at feeding time But she doesn't like men real well right now. Can't say I blame her. Her sores are almost completely healed. She's going to make.Thank you GOD.
